Harvard University has dramatically increased its investment in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) by 257% since June, reaching a reported 6,813,612 shares valued at $442.9 million by September 30. This substantial increase from an earlier $116 million position indicates a strong and growing institutional confidence in Bitcoin and digital assets.

Harvard University significantly boosted its investment in BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), increasing its holdings by 257% relative to its June position. According to an SEC filing, the university now holds 6,813,612 shares of IBIT, valued at approximately $442.9 million as of September 30. This marks a substantial increase from its previous allocation of 1,906,000 shares, which were worth about $116 million earlier in the year, highlighting a notable strategic move towards digital assets by the renowned educational institution.
