According to official statements, an overwhelming 95% of the 427,000 active crypto mining rigs identified in Iran are operating without proper authorization. These unauthorized facilities are reportedly drawing massive amounts of electricity, which is not only leading to power shortages but also severely destabilizing the national power infrastructure.
