Majority Leader Thune files cloture on Clarity Act, setting up Sept. 15 Senate vote

Majority Leader Thune has filed a cloture motion for the Clarity Act, scheduling a Senate vote for September 15th. The motion will require support from at least seven non-Republican senators for passage.

The Senate is set to vote on the motion on Tuesday, Sept. 15, the day after the body returns, though at least seven non-Republicans will need to support it.
