MiCA Regulations Impact USDT in Europe While Bitdeer Expands into AI Cloud Computing

New MiCA regulations are leading to the disappearance of USDT from regulated platforms in Europe, though global demand for Tether appears unaffected. In a separate development, Bitcoin mining firm Bitdeer has secured a substantial $400 million deal to build AI cloud computing infrastructure in Malaysia, with revenue generation anticipated by early 2027.

USDT is disappearing from regulated European platforms, but there is little sign that it has resulted in weakening global demand for Tether.

Bitdeer expects revenue from the five-year agreement to begin in early 2027 as it builds toward 350 megawatts of AI cloud capacity by 2028.
