A security researcher, known for uncovering a significant vulnerability in Zcash's Orchard Pool, has announced plans to extend his audit queue to include other privacy-focused cryptocurrencies, with Monero (XMR) specifically named as a future target. This move indicates a proactive approach to enhancing the security of privacy coins.

The security researcher, who discovered the Orchard Pool vulnerability in Zcash, says he has added other privacy-focused coins, including Monero, to his audit queue. Security engineer Taylor Hornby, who used the Claude AI Opus 4.8 model, has revealed that he intends to audit Monero, among other crypto projects.
