Makecrypt exists because the two available genres — promotion and warning — both skip the part that actually prevents losses: how the thing works.
The editorial rule
Every page here has to survive one test: would it still be correct if the price of everything fell ninety percent tomorrow, or rose tenfold? If a sentence only makes sense in one of those worlds, it is a market opinion wearing an explanation's clothes, and it does not go in.
What we take money for
Nothing, on this site. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored sections, no exchange referrals and no paid placements. Operating costs are carried by the operator named in the imprint.
We mention this because the standard business model in crypto education is exchange referral, which pays per account opened and per trade executed. That arrangement rewards writing that encourages trading. Ours does not exist, so it cannot.
Corrections
This field changes quickly and some of what is here will age badly. Corrections are made with the date visible at the foot of the page. If you find an error, write to us — a correction is more useful to everyone than a text that stays wrong because nobody wanted to revisit it.
What we are not
Not an investment firm, not a broker, not a licensed adviser in any jurisdiction. We do not manage money, take custody of anything belonging to a reader, or accept deposits. Anyone offering to do those things in this site's name is not us.
